@Debradelai @paul_schmehl I got to hear your lovely voice.Anyway, did I tell my popped tire story of my recent move?On a mountain top, the tire on my rented trailer decided to rip apart. I pulled over.Apparently, the 2 axles on the trailer were not redundant, they were additional points of failure. What trash USA has turned to. We used to make things STRONGER not weaker. Anyway,I took off the wheel before I discovered I cannot drive on one axle or three wheels this way. I checked

@Debradelai @paul_schmehl to see if ...ok, you're wondering, what does this have to do with me?I was parked 20 feet off the highway.Aha! you say ... that has nothing to do with my situation.I dearly hope the AAA truck will help keep the tire replacement safe and sound. I use tow trucks for this type of safety whenever it is a good idea.Ok, back to my story.

@Debradelai @paul_schmehl In my case, I was safely off the road, unlike your situation.So, I pondered what to do. The rental place roadside service was 5 hours drive away. I found a tire shop a 1 hour drive away, about to close for the weekend in 1 hour 30 minutes. Guess what I decided to do?Two and a half hours later, I was back, trying to put my wheel back on the trailer.I could make the story more interesting by telling about the small boulder I used to do many steps of the process

@Debradelai @paul_schmehl Total times I had to stop for suspension service: 3.Total times I had to take off and put on the wheel almost by myself using a small boulder and leftover tools: 1. And pay for the tire.Total times I was stuck on the narrow side of the road with danger of being run over: 0.Total times I stopped in mountains: all of them.It helps to break down where there's extra room to work!!!
