Someone on Gab posted a theory about dual electors being appointed so that even when today's EC votes appear to all go to Biden, the alternates are already there. A few minutes ago, I saw this tweet. There may be something to that theory.

@Penn4421 I wonder about this, though. Did these state legislatures actually pass a resolution appointing electors? Unless they did so, the electors don't have to be recognized.

@Penn4421 So near as I can understand what they're doing, the Republican electors have met in these states to cast "provisional" electoral votes under a theory that if the results of the popular vote in their states are overturned in subsequent legal challenges, the slates of GOP electors who otherwise would have won will have their electoral votes on record for consideration by Congress. Haven't seen anything about state legislatures actually passing a resolution to appoint these electors.

@darulharb @Penn4421 I don't quite understand it either but pretty sure it's needed when it goes to court. The judge can claim since the electors already voted to give it to Biden the cases are moot.

@LorJ It's necessary, but not sufficient, that they've voted. There's still got to be some step to prove that they are the valid electors, either by the election results in the contested states being overturned due to illegal votes, or the state legislatures appointing them as their slate of electors. Their legal status as electors derives in some fashion from the state legislatures: either they won the election under the law established by the legislature, or the legislature appoints them.

@darulharb @Penn4421 Most can when they are in session January 1. Contact them now! Write and call them. Most of them were denied being in session by the executive branches that are part of the deep state, but they come in session in the new year. Check your state for details. Read original docs, not fake news.

Visit all your legislature representatives and tell them in person (all electronic communications are now censored) what you think. Also try to write and call them, but that is mostly censored. Do everything.

@darulharb @LorJ But the point is that the vote is disputed in those states - if these alternative electors are the valid set, we wouldn’t need them!! Rudy’s tweet yesterday made it sound like they are official enough!! My understanding is that the court cases are an additional path to victory, in which the constitutional issues are resolved, the vote totals are corrected, and the state retroactively re-certifies the Trump electors.1/2
