So I'm playing around with LMMS and I just can't get over this popping noise that occurs at the beginning and ending of any sample.Anyone know how to fix this? I'm betting it's only by using JACK audio that it'll get fixed :P

@brandon it's probably something with power management powering down the card when it's not in use

@kai well considering my current “sound card” is the one built into my docking station I’m not surprised it’s poop

@brandon it's not necessarily the sound card's fault. It could be the kernel putting it to sleep when it's not playing.

@kai @brandon If this is the reason, you can fix it by playing silence (or “silence +0.01dB”) on a loop in Audacity.

@wizzwizz4 @kai I think the issue may be the samples I was using. I didn't notice any issues when I started using some samples that I downloaded elsewhere
