Biden walked out of the medical office without any crutches.I remember spraining my ankle playing soccer. I was 25 at the time and was immediately given crutches as well as a boot.Somehow Joe doesn't need any support at all. Pretty amazing!Anyone notice that?

@REX diagnosed with "hairline" fractures in midfoot using CT scan after plain xrays did not show any fractures. likely doesn't have an active fracture but rather osteophytes (bone spurs) in his tarsal bones that could be interpreted to show a "hairline" fracture only seen on CT or MRI. The treatment for a sprain or this "fracture" is the same.. a walking boot...MUCH less painful than a bad ankle sprain where you would need crutches since it is hard to even put weight on it.

@REX I noticed it. And it didn’t look like he was walking with a painful limp either. I’ve sprained my ankle (when I was 16) and both daughters have as well. It’s painful. Crutches required each time.

@REX A few years ago I sustained a J fracture of my right foot, I was in a boot, no weight on it for 3 weeks. I had to use crutches which I hated. If Biden is walking on it it's not broken, like his dr said.

@REX Sprain injuries can vary, tbh. From what I understand though, he has a few fractures in his foot as well. Usually, the most common fractures are to the 4th and 5th metatarsals. As someone who sprained her ankle, fell, and fractured my 4th and 5th MT's last year, it hurt like HELL and took 4.5 months to heal. My husband sprained his ankle badly, (did not fall, just sprained it) and has only now said it feels almost normal after 4 weeks. Did they pump JB up with pain meds? Maybe.

@Davel495 I would assume they are aware of the drugs he is taking and dosed appropriately. I am sure he is wearing a boot, which helps. Elected current and ex politicians get the best care in the country, whether we think it's fair or not.

@wziminer @REX Your do right about a bad Dotson and bruise to the bone. Better to get a break. My daughter is still in a boot. Since mid Sept. Sees the ortho again. Very slow healing process, and yes painful.

@Jaime @REX Ha! Nope, I never saw a podiatrist or Orthopod. I am a stubborn dr, so I diagnosed myself. At first I didn't realize I had broken those bones, since they were non-displaced, but realized they were broken and not sprained when I didn't heal after 4 weeks like hubby. I just wore really good shoes and gave it time. I know, I know. Why should I pay someone when I knew that I could treat it myself? I can be ridiculously subborn at times. Either way, I healed beautifully.

@Jaime I also didn't have "exquisite pinpoint tenderness." meaning horrific 10/10 pain at the break sites, which I now know don't necessarily happen with non-displaced fractures. Dr's make the worst patients. @REX

@Jaime The other thing that I knew is that (and this is why I am still skeptical that Joe broke anything... esp with his lack of pain) is that hairline fractures don't SHOW UP on x-ray until at least 14 days post fracture. ) So, normal people get regular x-rays when the injury first happens. Since he is Mr. Fake Presy Elect, maybe he got an MRI, but meh. @REX

@wziminer @REX I was curious as to what our medical people would say!I sprained my ankle once too and could not walk on it.That said, one of our black belts got her toe broken during sparing and she could walk on it.Likewise, I bruised my toe sparing (ELBOW TO THE TOE) and could walk on it but the damn thing hurt like hell.I'm guessing it matters where the fracture is.

@wziminer @Jaime @REX You speak truth, @wziminer . Fx’s don’t show on X-ray until remodeling begins. It’s also common to have bruising in the heel from over-use and bad shoes, speaking from my own experience. Takes a while to get over, but a boot helps. The “Pres-Elect” spent more time on his feet than he was used to, poor thing. 😑
