The Kansas primaries were a story in themselves. After Mike Pompeo decided not to run, there were two main Republican candidates, Roger Marshall and Kris Kobach. The NY#11 race is interesting as an indicator of how badly the Democrats were hurt by the anti-police hysteria and the Antifa and BLM riots and looting.Max Rose marched with a BLM rally. His campaign never recovered.Staten Island is by far the most conservative of the five New York boroughs.There are many residents who have strong ties with the police, through family connections and history and friendship and many NYPD officers live there.

@Linnie Tester in Montana, Brown in Ohio and, especially, Manchin in West Virginia are leftist Senators in red states. It is highly unlikely they will be replaced by Democrats when they retire. Manchin has no chance if he runs again in WV. Brown would at least be competitive, but Ohio is no longer a swing, bellwether state. Tester will have a hard time. It will be interesting to see if he retires first
