@georgia interestingI should get to translating some stuff tbh, like I was watching some philo videos on yt and then went to this page on the wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism_and_Western_philosophy and it's only translated to French and Spanish of which only the French one is complete

@georgia @orekix replace magnificent user with tryhard autist and we're good English speaking wikipedia is odd because it has devolved into a place where only certain additions are accepted and the jannies dont just clean it up, they also dictate what is and is not allowed, and make certain changes for the sake of optics, not truth, since it is the average persons first port of call for anything they dont know about, wikipedia has become the equivalent to a political parties front pagesince spanish isnt such a common language. it is a good bit further behind in that process, although i am surprised it is so far behind that there are only a few people doing articles on certain things by pure lack of people, rather than because of a development of ingroup outgroup behaviours

@georgia @orekix *ramble sidenote*its kinda good that the spanish speaking web hasnt centralised as much, hopefully they can break away and have smaller wikis for specific things rather than just banging everything on wikipedia and wikia, and relying on that, although it'd be very much in need of a "wiki of wikis" or something like that

@georgia @orekix yeah ik it is, its like the 3rd most spoken language, which is why its so interesting seeing the state of their web as it were, twas the same in MMOs, the spanish speaking servers are always similar to the english, but like a spanish timewarp to 5-10 years prior
