       @DebradelaiI belatedly caught part of the "Yapping with Saul" yesterday (for some reason I am unable to find it now).If you want to prevent Youtube from adding a ton of mid-roll ads during the video, you can opt OUT of them in Youtube Studio by going to Settings -> Upload Defaults -> Monetization -> uncheck During video (mid-roll). In this way, you can specify your own mid-roll ads as you upload.Note: this only applies to future videos, not previously-uploaded ones.

       @ar2020 Wrong on three counts.1. It was not Yapping, it was VIP. You can't find it because only channel members can.2. Both new and old uploads are capable of editing mid-rolls.3. Thats what we do, but sometimes, after release from a linit, it does its own thing. Then we fix it as soon as we learn.

       @Debradelai 1) Then there was a glitch in the system for some reason.2) Please note: the setting I speak of is for the DEFAULT behavior of mid-rolls.3) After the release, it is obeying the default setting above. You can prevent that behavior with that setting.

       @Debradelai Settings -> Upload Defaults -> Monetization -> uncheck During video (mid-roll) to prevent automatic midroll ad placement after release. If it doesn't work the way you expect, you can always re-check it.
