You'd think that, being an Open platform, Android would have lots of ported FOSS games and apps in the Google Play store.It does not. The few games that did get ported over are dodgy quality at best.

@sean Ok, I mean, I’m a broken record about it but the Android port of C:DDA is actually pretty good and absolutely completely playable. You’d want to learn to play on PC before trying on Android though.

@clarjon1 I think that might be the case. Still, it's kind of surprising to see so many garbage apps and games clog up the commercial side.

@sean not really ( at least to me )when you take into account that those garbage games use heavily researched gimmicks to make themselves addictive and attention grabbing to the lowest common denominator, and then all work together to promote the FUCK out of each other with the ad networks they utilize. The same kind of crowd that folks went after with the "YOu are the 1000000th visitor to the site, click for free iphone!" "Hit the monkey and win a PRIZE!!" types... The reason why those types of adverts were so prevalent was cuz... they worked. and now that type of mechanism is in all these cheap shitty games! Yaaaaaaay!
