       @amolith oof, that's partly why I'm getting a better CPU (I have a 2700x which is a higher clocked version of the 2700)

       @normandy @amolith It would definitely help, I ended up getting a programming server though with 128 Cores EPYC, because I couldn't bare to wait for hours to build such packages. :akko_mmpf2:​

       @amolith I mean the cpu's been pretty good to me, a much needed upgrade from the old Nehalem setup I used to use. I just want to play with shiny new hardware, and also want to delve into using new codecs for my transcodes (namely AV1 and VP9).
