       @amolith Just out of curiosity, what DNS would you use? Or even as a daily DNS provider?I'm currently using pihole but have CF as the secondary upstream one

       @idanoo On installation, my servers use my own public DNS resolvers. After that, I configure them to use Unbound, query root servers directly, and cache the response. My desktop is set up the same way and my phone uses my own resolvers.

       @posrev Only instances that configure their servers with Cloudflare's DNS. It's not default with any distro I know of so it would have to be intentional.However, what I said above is only speculation. I can't imagine anything other than fedi servers connecting to my domain so often that it's (supposedly) in the top 100k worldwide.

       @amolith Full unbound -> root servers. Turned off piholes cache and using unbounds cache. <1ms replies after  first result. Thanks!
