       @AudreyJune Of course the other and more scary possibility is that they are preparing for conflict, and given the limited availability of a certain type of ammunition, that’s a non-zero possibility.That and the fact that they’ve already been carrying out organized, armed attacks on US citizens, without police intervention despite several fatalities, because those citizens were saying that the police were doing a bad job, and that hurt their feelings.

The Black Panthers were disbanded way back in the Reagan era, along with the Black Liberation Army, the Chicana Rights Project, the Communist Workers Party, the Weather Underground, the FCC Fairness Doctrine, the Industrial Union of Marine and Shipbuilding Workers of America, and the American Soccer League.
