       @laggard i drove a car with a broken gas gauge for a long time and never did either! (however, the "you're really fuckin low" light still worked, the gauge itself was just broken)

       @mdszy Had an old moped with a fuel petcock. Only ran into reserve fuel a few times, at which point the engine stutters and you have to put the petcock to "reserve fuel"
