@CSB I can see why. My roommate some years ago ran a video company and just for fun we were making a horror movie about a cursed knife. I was the main character and this one scene I’m talking him — he’s average height exactly. The camera was relatively level, and I towered over him. He looked like a wee little micro person standing next to me. We had a number of issues with the top of my head cut off, or the bottom half of his. Its logistically difficult to have big differences in the heights of actors.

@CharmingEbola @CSB Its worse in Canada were we just randomly switch between them. Like if you are in a grocery store, items will be metric or imperial just.. randomly. Sometimes on the same item.We don’t use metric entirely properly either, compared to say, purely metric countries like Japan. It kinda works out because it means we all know both systems perfectly well though, so we can interact with Americans and everyone else just fine.
