This is how Facebook + WhatsApp destroyed India as nation. The Facebook employees must be prosecuted. They not only demolished a nation face , legacy its recognition but also destroyed India social fabric. Shame on @Facebook@Twitter.com https://www.wsj.com/articles/facebook-executive-supported-indias-modi-disparaged-opposition-in-internal-messages-11598809348?redirect=amp&s=09#click=https://t.co/H8QJVizxyT

@BhavikaI think a large part of the blame goes to people who continued to use it even when Facebook was exposed continuously. Many continue using it. Nobody is forced to use Facebook. At least now, we need to take responsibility and ask people to boycott #Facebook and #WhatsApp.

@praveen , Yes you right. I never used FB heavily. I have only 23 friends on Facebook and I don't use instagram at all. Last year only I bought android phone and started using limited WhatsApp, otherwise I was on BBM mostly. People IQ, people wisdom is responsible.

@BhavikaNot using it is necessary first step, but that is not sufficient, we need to actively ask others to do the same. We need to be more creative in explaining the problem of #Facebook. Most people don't understand technology, so it is not entirely their fault. But at the same time we have to call out the people who understand the problem, but refuse to act because they are lazy or just want to beg Zuckerberg to show mercy.

@BhavikaIt is unlike protesting or petitioning govt policies, because Zeckerberg is not accountable to people. His accountability is to only to shareholders of #Facebook. As long as he makes a profit, they don't care. We do have a choice here (Facebook is not the only option to communicate), but it does require us to stop being lazy and actively campaign, because a social media requires people.
