GOG is Polish. I know many people mix Slav nations and simply call them Russians, it's not a vary big deal, but just to clarify: GOG is made by Polish. Although, nice vlog, I'll probably use it in conversation with my pals who don't understand how common free software actually is.

BTW GOG is shit, they sell proprietary games. Proprietary games are as evil as any other proprietary SW, actually probably worse because people have this idea of games being some kind of exception to free SW principles. Please only play completely libre games (not just engine, but also content).

People sometimes let out that one horrible sentence that goes "looooonix is only freeeee if your time is worthless". That's literally the stupidest sentence that I've ever heard, besides being absolutely wrong also showing a complete misunderstanding of the word "free". Literally the only reasons I've come across is in the last 5 years for why someone can't use Linux is video games, Microsoft Office & Adobe (corporate America have heavily integrated these tools into daily use), and the learning curve (where's the C: drive?!?).

Most companies that want to offer a service or a product don't really care who wrote all of the software. The free software stack is currently the best way for them to get an operating system and other software that they need to base their product on. A lot of free software development is funded by these companies because they also benefit from it. Most companies don't have to resources to build an operating system from the ground up and if Microsoft came about in the 2000s its products would also be based on free software. Companies paying for a tiny portion of free software development since they rely on it could be seen as a tax akin to a road tax.
