       While we should address how the deleting of anarchist pages is part of a process of censorship that’s meant to further marginalize and criminalize anarchists, we also never should have been on facebook to begin with. Every time we make an anarchist facebook event, we’re inviting people to press ‘going’ and snitch on themselves. Every time an anarchist publishing house shares an article, inviting people to ‘like’ and ‘share’, they’re creating another honey trap.

       & let’s not forget that information about our social bonds - who our friends are, who we’re fighting with, who is depressed, who is an addict - has always been the most important thing they need to undermine us, recruit snitches, etc. That information about anarchist communities has never been more freely available. We are our own worse snitches when we operate on platforms where our ever action can be used to further profile us. It has to stop.
