       @envgen Maybe you could record some of the stuff you do like to hear (radio 4 news?), archive it for a few years, and one day, wake up giving yourself a feeling of "Oh my goodness! I time-traveled to pandemic 2020?! Panic!"

       i cant find a manual for this so i dont know if it is possible to timeshift radio 4's 5:30am news briefing to play when i wake up........ probably not

       @envgen With enough trickery, it's possible! You could somehow "silently" record the radio with a raspberry pi (assuming they do internet streams), and then, program the Pi to re-play the recording to through the tape-deck using a "stereo to cassette adapter" when you wake up, like so: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002DW92IE -- over-engineering at its best/worst?! :beanblobcathyper: You could even get actuators to "press the buttons" for you by building little robot fingers/hands, I suppose.
