       I mean, some may find it nice...But on a deeper level, I wonder if I can avoid these (not-so-secure) dependencies altogether.Might switching to PHP + MySQL help? 🤔​Any thoughts, #fediverse ?

       @dym thank you for your suggestion, I am aware that I can do that.I am just looking out for a lower-tech way to do something.And I am also lazy to continue updating dependencies as time goes by

       likely impossible to avoid dependencies at large, as the entire tech stack evolves over time as well – you gonna need to update the server itself after all;ruby on rails is not the best choice regardless tho (mainly due to speed/performance);php and elixir are more suited technologies for a modern web-server
