I'm really fucking confused why there isn't more outrage about the deaths of Corona in the US. Like, dude. Something like 167,000 people have died since Feb 29th. Let's put that into a bit of context. Somewhere around 3000 people died in the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers. So, since Feb. 29th, 2020, approximately 55-56 9/11s have happened to the USA.A thousand people a day. That doesn't sound like a lot on it's own, but it is. A thousand people is a lot of people- and a thousand corpses is a crime. I know there is a lot of outrage, but honestly, I'm really surprised there isn't a whole lot more.

I mean, fuck, we destroyed another country and destabilized an entire region of the world for 3000 people.

@DaveTLV > Lowest death rate overall in 10 years> Outraged over the lack of outrage.

@DaveTLV i suspect it’s due to the people who think it’s “just the flu”, or worse, who think it isn’t real. it’s pretty stupid and irresponsible.there have even been cases of people who thought it wasn’t real — only for them to die from covid as a result of their laxness. scary stuff.
