What do you think about registering your face as a trademark?King Camp Gillette, an inventor and a founder of The Gillette Company, did it in 1906. You can find the Danish trademark with Gillette's face here: https://onlineweb.dkpto.dk/pvsonline/Varemaerke?action=109&sagID=VA%201906%2000575The trademark is still active, so Gillette's face has legal protection even after almost century. And you know what? On this image Gillette is with unshaven mustache! I mean, is this face appropriate for razor brand?#trademark #Gillette #intellectualproperty

@VGM I guess the interesting question is only: what happens if you lose the trademark to your face, but don't lose the protection of your face? I guess you could say you've made yourself a person of public interest and therefore your face as used in the trademark no longer enjoys protection.

@kensanata Well, trademarks protect designations for certain good or services only, not in general. So, I wonder how the public interest in using Gillette's face for razors is possible 😁

@VGMYou are telling me, I could register my face and bring down every social network account with my picture?
