       @riking Er, sure, Google does plenty of evil and all that, and these blog posts are pretty vague, but uh...Trademarks have to be enforced, or they stop being meaningful. It looks like the Collective's job is to enforce trademarks for OSS properties. In order to have legal standing to file infringement suits, the Collective *has* to own the trademark(s) in question, right? What... what else could the collective actually *do* as a third party? Amicus briefs?
