I'm with @hellcp. warmer drinks help cooling in hot weather. It kinda is like reverse psychology. Warm drink heats your body. Then your body slowly cools itself to balance the body temperature. Unlike chilled drink, cooling isn't immediate but it lasts longer.@trwnh
