Nice video, very informative about the philosophy of stoicism. I've been lost in the void of modern world for years and the perception of an "order of the world" that comes before the actions of men was one of the things that made me come back to Christianity. You might need to fix the encoding before updating tho, is taking very long time to load even though is audio with an static image. Possibly mathematics exists in some kind of platonic reality. Although i don't suppose studying human languages is equivalent to studying reality. Could be negatively correlated though. The world is as is, neither good, nor bad. I like Philo's idea that apart from god's existence, no appropriate predicates can be conceived. From this any holy book is but a human attempt at understanding god, however sincere. Lastly, what is the appeal of Varg?

@raixe@noagendasocial.com I meant Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, and Seneca, the most well-known / commonly read stoic philosophers. Discourses, Enchiridion, Meditations, and Epistulae Morales ad Lucillum are a good introduction to stoic philosophy.

Take Hamlet for instance, in his famous soliloquy he doubts life itself. I find Hamlet to be the intellectual's Christ.
