@Gina too green?! Not green enough! I painted my bedroom a light avocado-ish green with white trim six years ago and I've never regretted it. Just get yourself lighting which is fairly warm (=/>4000°k) otherwise it can make one look a smidgeon greenish....

@Gina @Bobo_PK cheaper version of that is paint the wall white and buy some RGB LED strips and put on the top and bottom. The reflection will "paint" the wall.

@Gina they usually have binders with color samples for each paint brand in stores. You could lend the thickest binder home, pick the closest color (or perfect if much luck) and take a photo of it next to the wall (so both colors are equally distorted by the camera & comparable).Then you would go back to the store and either pick one of the other manufacturer's paints with that better match or ask them to mix the perfectish one given the photo (were i am they offer mixing cheap).

@Gina Give it one more layer. You can prolly fix this by making long vertical strokes from the ceiling to the floor.Next time when you start painting a wall, apply the roller diagonally first and finish it off with verticle strokes.And I like that colour, btw! :D
