Ok to be fair, I do have one #FOSS project going on; I still need to fix my #RPI #MagicMirror. Last time I worked on it I borked one of the modules and then chucked it back in the ongoing projects pile. π

@Gina Me too have a project with RaspberryPi which was postponed and postponed.I'm trying to build a voice assistance using CMUSphinx. Recently finding some articles on how to train models using my recorded voice which seems to be quite interesting. So, I might try this soon.

@bekopharm I didn't, unfortunately I broke it and couldn't get it to work again, so I forgot about it. Hopefully this time it'll work.

@Gina does it actually use a camera to provide literal mirror-functionality; or is it just the name?

@mvp nah it's basically a monitor with a double sided mirror in front of it. Or if you're poor like me, a sort of plastic see through plate with reflective mirror tape. Which I still have to find online somewhere.

@patcoll @mvp well people do sometimes integrate a tiny camera above the screen, still behind the two way mirror, to enable facial recognition.

@Gina Oh, I've so wanted to do one of those for so long. The only thing holding me back is I have no practical use for one, or place to put it if I build it.

@mike @Gina "I have no practical use for this or a proper place to put it" is usually the conclusion I come to _after_ building said project, so at least you're showing some restraint.

@Gina I use neovim with lsp addon and eslint or tslint... - eg. coc-nvim. Works quite well on arm devices and is very lightweight. Btw: photo of the magic mirror looks awesome!
