Ah, Spinsters. Today I was chatting with a woman and she was telling me about the library that she takes her kids to. She excitedly told me that a man who works there suddenly started wearing dresses and became a woman, and she was telling me that she thought it was great and that she's very happy for him. I then told her that I support the idea that men should wear whatever they want but they shouldn't be competing in women's sports and shouldn't be using our sex-based facilities. She stopped making eye contact with me. So I asked "would you take your clothes off in a changing room if a transwoman was in the changing area with you?" and she said yes she would. Then she said that she knows that I wouldn't because I'm from such a conservative part of the world, but people here in the west are fine with this 😞 My views get dismissed because I come from the third world, I guess.

@grace_hawthorn I think most women are unaware of the potential dangers. But also, I hate the old fliparoo… feeling uncomfortable changing in front of a male bodied stranger is MY fault because I come from a conservative part of the world? It doesn't seem fair somehow. 🤷♀️

Part of the whole plan. Break down children’s barriers and their innate sense of what is right or wrong, closely backed up by Tatchell and his cronies campaigning for age gap relationships. @Anna_Khalili33 That's such nonsense. On one hand there are women who really are fine with it, even among "conservatives," e.g. Angela Merkel used to go to a nudist beach in Germany in her youth, and there's lots of mixed sex saunas in Germany, but there are ALWAYS single-sex alternatives because it's never expected that any woman would be fine with it. The gym I go to even has a women-only training room, I suppose because many women feel uncomfortable getting their bodies in weird positions when there's men around. 😬 That, or it's to avoid getting hit on, I dunno.

@socjuswiz The funniest story I ever heard was when my best friend (who is from an even more conservative Arab country than I am) went to Estonia and was persuaded to go to a sauna. She was the only one in her bikini, but that was also the day she saw her first penis in real life 🙈 the dude leaned over her and was adjusting the temperature or something and she was lying right there with his body parts hovering over her face... the way she describes it though 😂
