@radicalrobit I guess I am not surprised since that browser is desperately holding on to the past in a lot of its elements. Which, is part of why I used it at times but, well, so much for that.

@radicalrobit you should also mention that the other popular Firefox fork called "Basilisk" is maintained by the same team of bigots. So fuck Palemoon and fuck Basilisk.#BlackLivesMatter

@thufie @radicalrobit even without this, people shouldn't use palemoon anyway, as it lacks modern browser protections.

@clacke @radicalrobit it was a violation of his license or something for not following his specific build instructions to use his bundled libraries which he hacked for performance (and were old and he added some cool vulnerabilities to make it fast)

@tinfoil-hat @radicalrobit @feld Unfortunately the choices at this point are just Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Everything else is just an alternate UI on those.(Of those I think I like Safari's featureset best)Or if you don't mind mainstream webpages breaking there's NetSurf, Dillo, the commandline browsers, and my own efforts. I'm exploring an alternate path forward for the web, the current one's not working...

@tinfoil-hat @radicalrobit @feld qutebrowser is probably the best compromise between a smaller effort and a browser that "works", it's heavily reliant on Google Chrome's engine "Chromium".I lumped it in as an alternate UI on Chrome.

@radicalrobit motherfucker really did say they're not against nor for BLM in the same post that they condemn BLM for "the opportunistic, aggressive driving forces that have the United States currently in chaos in many states" and call it an "extremist organisation"also, they really did just say "blacks" did they. jesus fucking christthey're all the same
