Looking to get a set of really good speakers but I don't even know where to begin. I'm only really one who's ever had to use headsets.Any suggestions? Preferably systems that aren't just cheap desktop computer ones because I blow those up by accident.

@dotUser Oh here's a really good speaker (You should buy two as they are only sold by the single unit):https://tinyurl.com/JBL-towerI guarantee that you won't blow these up by accident - you're skull would explode long before that happens ;)I have an earlier gen of these, and I've been extremely happy with them. What? I can't hear you can you speak up? lolz....Shipping is free too! So you'll save a bundle :)

@tallship I FINALLY saw this. Mastodon's bad at notices, and even showing anything at all sometimes.I am 99% certain those monsters are what we run at work for the practice floor hahaha. Not to mention sadly a bit out of my price range right now.

@dotUserHahahaha... Yah, that's a bit of overkill isn't it? I thought you might enjoy that one.Umm... Seriously though, depending on your actual application needs, a lot of people out there in the mountain wilderness of Humboldt ferry these things out and they're absolutely dandy for folks working in the fields or those seemingly continuous parties out here this time of year. What's really nice is although their basically water resistant, battery powered and rechargeable, support mp3, USB, and Bluetooth ( a lot of YouTubing), and are unobtrusive about a comfy campsite, etc., They also tick away in a very tidy way in a bathroom apartment against the wall where the trundle bed folds away and do perform very well at low volumes too...https://tinyurl.com/Pyle-portable#Pyle had always been a good brand that I used to seek out for speaker replacements in my big cabinets when I didn't want to spend the big (JBL-ish) bucks for band #PA_equipment that was just gonna get banged up anyway. As far as something with a desktop form factor, I've always heard those #Bose sets are awesome - quite pricey though. I found a comparable Sony product for $500, and honestly, the Pyle for $150 prolly rocks a lot harder in a more durable package 🤘😎🤘

@tallship Ooo, that might be doable here. I do hear good things about Pyle, too.I may just go for that one. :ACNH_Delight:
