It’s time to change my search engine and possibly my gmail too (though that sounds like a right fucker)... so my question to the new And OG Spinsters is- who are not deplorable? Is there a reliable search engine that doesn’t twist history and hate women? @mk might you and the techs be able to point me in a good direction?

@WrenWinx I use DuckDuckGo for my search engine, and run my own mail server with mailinabox. Proton mail is good for privacy if you ding want to do that

@WrenWinx @mk it's not necessarily radfem but duckduckgo is private and in my experience doesn't produce ultra-woke search results. protonmail is good for email security

Thank you, getting some good duck duck go feedback and will have a look at proton mail. Feels like such a big upheaval but that’s how they get us; It’s crazy how dependant we get on these massive A.C.M.E. Companies!@mk

@WrenWinx You actually have to install a whole new Operating System to get rid of them (if you run Android). Google spies on every single thing you so on your phone, down to your keyboard. I run Lineage OS. Its hard BC you cant use most apps without Google Play services, but you get used to it eventually.OSMand is an okay Google Maps alternative... it takes some getting used to, though.

DDG/protonmail. I still use gmail to an extent & have to wean off that. If you use DDG for a while and go back to google the difference in results is stark. I am also in the process on de-smartphoning myself but that's off topic, lol. @WrenWinx @mk
