       I love how when I first asked if I could wear my "they\them" pin the higher ups said it was fine. but the moment they realized what that meant. (and another employee started wearing his pride pin) its suddenly "not appart of uniform" and "we can't have political statements" like bitch. my gender ain't political. I know damn well they didn't care till it was pride month. half way through it at that. fuckers...

       @LensaMoon I used to have a walmart LGBT pride pin I wore when I worked at walmart a year or two before gay marriage was nationally legalized. Walmart had an internal pride organization you could contact for a free pin because even walmart knew that prejudice is bad business... what kind of place are you stuck at that is somehow less liberal that Walmart?        @Metaph food lion. it's like a ShopRite for the south. and it's not that they don't want us to wear pins for pride because it's homophobic if them. but more trying to protect us from shitty homophobic costumers. there was an incident a few years ago where some guy got violent with our manager... so I get why we can't have them but it fucking sucks

       @Metaph yeaaa and in recent month there have been A LOT of ppl in MAGA hats and trump2020 shirts that would come to shop. most of which would be super passive aggressive or just straight up avoid my register all together. like honey. going to that other register ain't gonna make a difference once my co-workers opens his mouth and starts talking. he will make you uncomfortable on purpose.most of us are part of the LGBT so even tho we couldnt wear pins we are still quite vissable regardless

       @LensaMoon lol yeah the maga hats are gonna come out of the woodwork even more the closer we get to the election I’m sure. I try to find ways not to take them too seriously because they’re looking to provoke when they wear that garbage and I’m not going to give them the pleasure
