I just had to remove my mail server's IP from the Spamhaus CSS black list. The only user on this server is me and I have sent less than 50 emails in the four or so months the server has been live. All of these E-Mails were hand written and going to individual people or very small groups of recipients at the most.Is this normal?

@vimja Seems like there are ~mystery heuristics~ involved.

It's happened a couple of times since then. I've looked at the postfix logs and I can't see anything I would deem suspicious. But I think I've spotted a pattern. I feel that every time my server was listed, it happened right after I sent an E-Mail to a gmail address. In an attempt to better understand what is going on, I registered with Google's postmaster tools at https://postmaster.google.comLet's see where things go from here...

this pretty much confirms my theory then... I sent out exactly one single E-Mail today. One. Plus I kept an eye on the postfix logs all day long and they confirm: no other email left the system. That one email went to a gmail address and now, about one hour after sending this email, I'm on the spamhaus blacklist again :(

Why is that though, has anybody got an idea? The Google postmaster tools don't show any information so signing up for those has not actually been any help, either :(

@codysseus Reverse nah, DNS, SPF and DKIM / DMARC are all configured and appear to be working correctly.
