husk might have some instability over the next few days as we're coming up on a disk limit, but i am shopping more storage. might be migrating to buyvm (partially with a storage vps, eventually entirely) but waiting on a response from hostinger. either way, gonna be expanding the storage dramatically in the near future, but there might be some dust in the process.

hostinger tried to sell me a windows vps... i think there's some cause for concern there.:elliot: "do you sell storage oriented vps, like buyvm's storage slabs?":tyrell: have you considered a windows vps? we're forced to provision them with more disk space.:elliotmanic: which just gets eaten up by the shit os you put on there. this is a sales pitch. i'm talking to someone who doesn't know what they're selling. repackaged e3 unit shifter. 10 million virtualized layers.:tyrellmanic: if you lock-in for 4 years of hosting, it's only $500 to upgrade your vps to the 40gb hdd plan.:elliotmad: i should be able to just buy more disk space from you. let me pay you for disk space. i shouldn't need to make migration plans that spans years for something as uncomplicated as a nas.we're paid through till march 2021 on this host, but i don't think i want to continue with them. i still don't have a nice solution since buyvm's slab storage is only in-house if you use their vps, and they don't sell their storage oriented vps anymore. i wanted another server (just for isolation of services) for the xmpp, so perhaps i'll swap the pleroma to their vps/slab.

@death Incidentally, although (THIS IS DIRECTLY THE GOVERNMENT'S FAULT) a big wad of money is held up, I'll be ordering equipment, getting colo space, and selling VMs (probably mostly to friends, pricing TBD, there will be plenty of disk) soon.

Ok, we're up and running on the new host. Went from 20gb to 250gb. Emoji are not yet copied over, but I'll do that later. For now things should be stable. Please ping if any issues.
