       @JenniTayler @Debbie_TriptychTwins Excellent letter!  The concept of MAPs is really shocking to me. I had an office mate (a young lesbian, who referred to herself as queer). She was very sympathetic towards the poor MAPs who she viewed as people with a genuine psychological disorder. It was an interesting office with only minorities (it's like the department dumped all the straight white people in one office, and dumped all of us "minorities" together in the other office--pretty sure that's not what HR means by creating diversity in the workplace, but whatever) so me and the other colleagues from different ethnic backgrounds were like "what about serial killers?" "What about Incels?" "What about rapists?" we can argue that everyone who commits violent crimes are people with psychological disorders that need help. She argued back that homosexuality used to be viewed as a phycological disorder. We all were like "being same sex attracted is NOT the same as raping kids!!!"  She only answered "I can't talk to you anymore." and turned back to her computer. 🤷
