tfw the apathetic hand of entropy will ultimately and inevitably bring the universe to its silent, cold demise, casually wiping away the final, struggling clusters of life as they sip the last energy of the universe from ancient black holes

@sir and as a final effort, they spelled "BIG MOOD" on the outside of the sphere. Dismayed by the knowledge that the letters would only last 10^100 years.

@sir As far as I know, life is entropically favorablehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropy_and_life

@sadmin all life is ultimately dependent on an energy gradient, when entropy reaches maximum then life (and productive work of any kind) is no longer possible by definition

@sir I believe the initial energy that established the gradient in the first place came from "the" big bang. I doubt that this event is unique. Many bangs, many gradients.

@sir And here's another more recent one. It goes more in the multiverse than the cyclic bang directionhttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/05/31/multiple-big-bang-theory-could-bring-copernican-revolution-says/

@sir So, is there any peer reviewed paper stating that there must be only one big bang?

@sadmin the "big crunch" theory is unsupported by evidence. There are papers about eternal inflation which might support the idea of multiple big bangs, but they lack substantial evidence or experimental testability.Peer reviewed sources or GTFO
