Don't really like how every white leftist seems super gung-ho about their favorite White Man. If your ideology is based on a white person's ideas, your ideology is almost certainly flawed.

@AshleyStoleYourGF I don't think I an agree with this sentiment, not matter how I try to read it. Except, of course, in the sense that no area of philosophy has closed all it's questions and so no ideology is complete, no matter it's foundations. I don't think that's what you're trying to get at, though.

@AshleyStoleYourGF Providing what I take to me the most charitable reading of what you're saying, I take you mean by "ideology [that] is based on a white person's ideas" you mean an ideology that is directly based on a white person's ideas, and not on further work that came later which have at their foundations a white person. By "white person" I take you mean someone European descent who lives as part of a racial majority for most, if not all, of their life. And, I also take you aren't trying to pick out someone who predates a notion of whiteness. By flawed I'm going to take you to mean there is some aspect of the ideology incongruous its stated values

@AshleyStoleYourGF I'm also going to assume that when you speak of ideologies, you speak of those that have a strong social component to them in which race is likely to form a large concern or to be a relevant factor. That is, you aren't trying to pick, for examples, ideologies about the foundations of mathematics or logic. Granting this, I still disagree. I have three objections.

@AshleyStoleYourGF The first is that an ideology may make no explicit mention of race and yet extension to racial analysis remain fully compatible with the ideology's values. The first is that a white person is no more predisposed to present an argument incongruous with their values as anyone else. Finally, the ideology may exist at a level of abstraction above which race is a factor, so while race might be a relevant factor in certain circumstances it is only contingently so and the ideology could remain completely unaffected if race were to never exist or to have existed in a radically different form

@violetkey I agree with you, plus the qualification of "every white leftist" defeats any further point that is attempted to be made. It comes off as emotional instead of factual and is easy to dismiss. @AshleyStoleYourGF

@Lexilaughs @violetkey @Lexilaughs @violetkey I didn't imply I was inviting anyone to a debate, I just hate white people. I hate their ideals, and I think anything a white person can teach, a person of color (more specifically, a black person) can teach far better. Also, "every" is hyperbole. Also, don't accuse me of being emotional. Also, stop writing long threads picking apart accusations thrown at white people, as if that's what needs tearing down right now.Haven't checked witches in a couple months and coming back to people picking apart my vent post is very upsetting
