@shebang @nerdman@kiwifarms.cc Yes, it's compatible with Samsung batteries, part numbers EB-BJ700BBC / BBE / CBEOr any other battery that would fit a 2015 Samsung Galaxy J7.

@PINE64 @shebang not product related but...did you accidentally untag @nerdman or does the instance you're on block kiwifarms.cc?product related:i understand that availability of displays and price are the reasons for a lot of decisions made about the product designs, but are there any plans for any alternate aspect ratio pinebooks in the future? i can vouch for myself at least being willing to pay a bit more for a 16:10 or a 3:2 aspect ratio display, i know its a pain to do since the displays are less common, its one of my 'musts' on a new laptop, trackpoint being second, tho thats one that is just harder to see all around lol so i wont pester about that one..... unless ofc its a possibility :devil_heart:Screenshot_2020-06-03_17-46-23.pngScreenshot_2020-06-03_17-53-13.png

@Lumeinshin @PINE64 @shebang You know what'd be cool? Know how some monitors you can turn 90 degrees to make them vertical? Do that on a laptop monitor. Then get rich off selling that to devs.

@nerdman @PINE64 @shebang that would certainly help with preventing back issues lol, tho only if you were to only use the top half of the displayi wanna say a company made a concept for that, tho i dont remember when or which

@Lumeinshin @PINE64 @shebang I mean for coding making display vertical is cool becaus you can see more lines at a time.

@Lumeinshin @nerdman@kiwifarms.cc @shebang Fosstodon does block Kiwifarms.3:2 display is extremely unlikely to happen, as those screen are rare and prohibitively expensive. 16:10 is more likely, but... there's not much difference there from 16:9, is there?

@PINE64 @shebang >fosstodon does block kiwifarmsOuch, that's a shame>isn't much difference between 16:9 and 16:10 is there? You wouldn't think there would be, but yeah I can safely say there is, such a difference that I've been using my 1280x800 t410 over my quad core 1600x900 t440pMy t410 may have much less power and a lower res, but because ofc I'm using Linux I can scale text and such, there's just more actual space, rather than resIt's great for writing and web stuff, I liked it so much I upgraded my main monitor from a 16:9 to a 16:10, tho I still use a 4:3 on my secondary pc

@Lumeinshin @shebang I've personally never noticed a usability difference between my 16:9 and 16:10 devices (the latter including T61 and Latitude D630), but I guess that may just be me not caring. 🤷‍♂️

@js If you paid extra for shipping, DHL. If not, Asendia.
