I guess I'm blogging again. If you are currently blogging too, let me know and I'll add you to my blogroll.https://vielmetti.typepad.com/logbook/2020/06/logbook-june-2020-blogroll.htmlso oldschool, but when blogging starts to look easy and relaxing compared to mainstream social media, there I guess I have to go.

@ed_packet If you have any interest in using something like Jekyll I'd be happy to lend a hand!

@artlogic I've got two piles of blog-stuff. I bought a Typepad account years ago, and keep up appearances there, because the mean time from hitting "post" to seeing a post live is very small, and I like that. I also have some dead blogs that have too many posts there, and are hard to port anywhere else.I also have a pile of blog-stuff under Hugo, which is pretty close to Jekyll in spirit I guess. This sitehttps://emv-commonplace.netlify.comhas a bunch of stuff but not in blog-order, just categories.

@ed_packet Ah, I see! I've been meaning to look into Hugo, but haven't quite gotten there yet. We just relaunched the allhandsactive.org site with Jekyll so it's fresh in my brain.I keep trying to blog, but I think I need more practice - and more discipline about publishing versus tweaking.

@artlogic I learned at one job how to write 500 words of copy that was properly punctuated, properly spelled, on topic and readable, all on a deadline, every date. I miss that discipline, though not that industry. The other thing I love about blogs when the publishing system is just right is how quickly you can get a page on the Internet that looks good and that has some appropriate level of gravitas to the task at hand.
