@ryandaniels I find that Canonical's relationship with Debian and the open source community is one of sneaky, feigned incompetence. Basically: when no one is watching too closely, they pull shit like this and the Amazon search function. Then, when caught, they feign ignorance: "Ow I'm sowwy, buddy! I fowgowt that we're a Linux distribution that should be trying to get people to use open source software and that we have a goddamn package management system that actually works just fine."😡
