       this is very much second-hand knowledge on my part but for anyone who is not aware and is remotely near the Phoenix area, Black Lives Matter PHX Metro are publicly advising folks not to attend the protests in Phoenix this weekend. Jarrett Maupin (along with All Black Lives Matter AZ), who BLM PHX-Metro has previously warned people about, is organizing this weekend's protests.Obvi, do your own research but I saw organizers I had reason to trust posting not to attend.

       BLM PHX-Metro did have a candlelight vigil for Dion Johnson last night, and they are hosting a virtual townhall tomorrow (https://www.facebook.com/events/185919426022114/) but those are the only events they have set up this weekend (though of course, certainly yet other groups are doing their own organizing this weekend so take all of this as you will)
