@drEkua , of course. And the charge is Third-Degree Manslaughter.

Third degree murder, and second degree manslaughter. The first charge means that they believe there was premeditation involved. The 2nd charge is there to convict him if the jury doesn't come convict on the 1st.@Camille @Hildegarde_de_Bingen @drEkua

It is horrendous. The crime the man was accused of was so minor. The force used so excessive. I know institutionalised racism is endemic, but each time I’m horrified again. @LostInCalifornia @Hildegarde_de_Bingen @drEkua

I know. I stay away from the video because I have a neck injury phobia, but that was excruciatingly horrific the one time I managed to watch it.I also know that it's hard to convict a cop because there is a weird twilight legal world where -we authorize uniformed people to use force against those who cause chaos- but we can't always trust the uniformed people not to cause chaos themselves especially when black people are involved-but we authorized them to use force in the first.Pretty damn clear he's guilty, pretty damn clear it was intentional, but he's a cop.@Camille @Hildegarde_de_Bingen @drEkua
