       @sir man $myfunction is one of C's greatest features.I cannot think of a single C library that is harder to use than large Java frameworks like Spring Boot. Even GObject is a much easier library to learn.The wonders of a simple language, which Go also seems to inherit much of.

       @sir the stack overflow survey is not a study of the questions themselves, but more a study of the people asking the question. While winning "most loved language" is not proof that a language is good, I would still say it is a good thing by itself, since it means people are not frustrated by using the language.I don't totally disagree with you, though, since C programmers who read man pages are probably not answering the survey. That is, the SO survey doesn't attract the most skilled crowd, so "most loved" is closer to "more loved by newbies". Furthermore, a language will not be loved on SO unless the people who love it use SO, which means they are probably asking questions about the language on SO. In summary, I would say that "most loved" really means "most complicated, but in a way that people like", which couldn't describe Rust more accurately.
