@hakui Yeah, they can also do audio and vector animations too so you could totally create a flash style game all contained in a single SVG file.

@hakui yep it can do audio too. You could use JS for the logic (ai, keeping score, etc.), could put the audio in base64 right in the file, and then do the sprites and animations the way you normally do in SVG.SVG is much more than an image format. It's more comparable to a document format like PDF.Here's a proof of concept with audio on click and cursor hover:http://xn--dahlstrm-t4a.net/svg/audio/html5-audio-in-svg.svgThat pulls files from the web server but I see no reason why they couldn't just encode audio as base64 to put them inside the SVG file to make a completely portable file like you can with SWF files.It also supports <audio> and <video> tags just like HTML5So, in theory you could also create an SVG video player just like with flash instead of loading the player with JavaScript and CSS which has kind of become the norm.SVG also supports CSS directly inside the SVG which is generally how you create animated SVGs.

@hakui Not yet. There are already HTML5 browser games that could be easily ported to be a self-contained SVG file tho. Not sure if there are any tools for doing that stuff in HTML5 but if so they could probably be modified to export the game to a single SVG file. This would likely need to be a specific tool so you could take full advantage of the format and it wouldn't be a pain in the ass to make.
