@theblessing Oh... That's one hella disturbing scene imo. The worst of the movie. The room was a complete mess. Looked like no one had lived in it for years. There wasn't even that much light coming in. The "sloth" victim was tied to the bed so tightly, that he couldn't move an inch. He was barely being kept alive by being fed through transfusions. His lips, eyelids, and I think even his tongue were nonexistent. Presumably surgically removed a long time ago. His entire skin looked as dry as a mummy's. So much so, that his fingers could fall off at a mere touch. His entire body was just skin and bones. The predominant feature of his face was a disturbing permanent grin, left because his teeth were visible and they looked longer than normal because even the gums looked dried out. A nightmare inducing scene, that's for sure.

@theblessing Interesting how our memory works... managed to find the scene on Youtube, and I seem to remember it far worse than it was. He still had his lips, but the disturbing grin part is true. Also, the skin all over his body was covered in all kinds of blisters. It had lost it's natural color, and had a pale blue tint to it. Not as dry as I remembered, but still very strange, mummy looking, especially around the neck and face.

@alyx thank you for describing it for me. i was hearing it described as the most fucked up scene of all time that left a lot of people scarred, especially if they saw the movie when they were younger. sounds like you had a similar experience. 😖 it does make me curious to go look it up.. @.@ maybe.. maybe...

@theblessing I saw it somewhat recently. Somewhere in the last few years I think, but it definitely left quite an impression. If I had seen it when it came out, it might have been nightmare inducing. I've seen plenty of violent movies as a young kid, but almost no horror flicks. And that scene definitely has a horror vibe to it.

@theblessing The movie is definitely worth a watch overall. It's quite good. But if you're not good with gore or gruesome scenes, it'll have a few unpleasant moments.
