My 3 yo is getting more and more interested in space/planets/stars. Is it better to wait until the epidemic is gone and I can take them to a proper observatory, or should I start looking for an affordable telescope? Ideally, let me know if you have first hand experience and/or boost as you like. Thanks! 🌌

@steko I own a telescope.. honestly you learn far more from a personal setup than you would a pro-observatory.An observatory you mostly look through an eye piece and see something pretty. All the real learning comes from figuring out how to get your own telescope pointed at something of interest and what you can or cant see with a specific scope.
