For unclear reasons, my computer started doing what it was fucking supposed to. Only thing I did different this time is I took out the CMOS battery and reinserted it. Somehow, inexplicably, this cleared some shit up, where as setting the CMOS reset jumpers did not...Currently copying all the files from my external disk over to a fresh ZFS mirror pool across two 4GB disks. However tempting it may be to create a striped 8 GB volume, I bought these disks primarily for the data security.

@thor CMOS reset and power cycle reset are the 2 steps which can resolve the 99% of problems without a logical explanation. I did a power cycle reset, remove and reinserted the RAM and my screen is working fine now. The reason? I don't know... Universe an the way it operates are too much for me. BTW: it's a screenshoot of a video I had about the issue.

@thor I helped IT department on my company. I don't know on other companies but here problems are generated, most of the times thanks to an IT member... 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. He erased 500GB of info with no bavkup triying to clone it on a HDD docking station. But is not the job I'm looking for.

@thor What is the worst problem you've had on IT? I mean, a problem you'll not even wish to your worst enemy.
