       @mewmew really wishing i'd stuck with "directory" all these years so i'd have a single word now that, if spoken to my coworkers, would unequivocally mean to hand me the paper file folder with the originally signed documents and not simply telling me the case file number to look up the directory on the office server containing the electronic portion of the case file

       @mewmew @juliobiason for me there is folder, directory and path. The place I am currently in I call directory. It may have folders and files in it, and they all have a path.
