       Apparently, someone wrote a proof showing that it is impossible to parse C++ "[A] conforming compiler should be able to decide whether x is a function or variable!        @zalandocalrissian Brilliant!  I knew that template metaprogramming was Turing complete (it's relatively easy to see, since is has recursion and conditionals), but making the kind (function or variable) of the declaration depend on compile-level computation is genius.C++ really looks like a Lisp with a horrible syntax and a ton of historical cruft.
