@mel @Jain I don't even know if it was true, I think the whole thing was based on an image of that blue tubbie carrying a handbag or something. You gotta take into account that I'm talking like 25 years in the past, when folks weren't yet so accepting of gay people and you could generally call someone a queer without much public backlash over it.

So maybe they’re just made for their job, I dunno…When it comes to getting funded, I guess it was so out of sync with reality that the funders had no clue how to criticise the pitch.
