       @adam yeah I read a funny "debunking" of it that said: hey those solar panels that have to be replaced every 10 years are replaced by higher efficiency ones. The stupid stick (or at least the confirmation bias stick) just kept hitting them in the head.

       @radix023 @adam Thats still not good unless there's a standard frame that you can easily replace the panels in without re-bolting whole new frames to your roof every 10 years. Then amortize the old panels' remaining lifespan cost & sell them on the used panel market while factoring in the new panel upgrade cost.Treat it like a car trade-in & only do it when its cheaper to update to ensure continued power at your given cost per watt.
