@Jaime When I saw your request yesterday for prayers at noon today, I realized your sister had passed. I also realized I could click on your name and read all your posts. The picture of her and what you wrote is also beautiful. Thank you for your note thanking people on Quod Verum for prayers even though you have not met them. I am by nature reticent, especially about my religious feelings, and felt hesitant to open up.

@Jaime A young adult family member who had skipped confirmation in high school recently decided completely on his own that he wanted to be confirmed. In early March, although he was still attending adult classes for the ceremony that was supposed to take place Holy Saturday at Easter Vigil (now postponed), my mom and I were already self-isolating together and I took her online shopping for a set of rosary beads to give him for his confirmation.

@Jaime While on EBay, I saw this beautiful set of light blue pearl Miraculous Medallion rosary beads that I did not need and could not afford. I clicked past them at that point, but then they kept popping up all the time in EBay ads, and I finally gave in.

@Jaime I instantly had buyer’s remorse and then even more so when the package arrived a few days later—another possible source of corona virus contamination—and tossed it in the garage with other piles of unopened mail, where it sat for another week or so. Finally, when sorting through the mail, I approached the rosary bead package with much trepidation. I had not previously looked at the mailing label. On EBay, the seller name seemed unusual, maybe even from China.
